With fifty years of experience designing boats Yves-Marie de Tanton has earned his title as a legendary yacht designer. His firm Tanton Yachts was founded in 1972 in Newport, RI and is credited with over 350 designs. While the bulk of his work pertains to sailing vessels, his ingenuity, engineering, and beautiful lines are equally applied to modern day motor-vessels, trawlers, and a variety of naval architecture projects.
